The Roger Sherman Inn, dating back to the 1700's, is a restored and distinctively decorated historic landmark named after Roger Sherman, a Colonial lawyer and delegate from Connecticut who was one of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence.

The Inn features 17 unique guestrooms and suites each with television, telephone, minibar and private bath. Complimentary continental breakfast is included daily with an award-winning contemporary continental cuisine restaurant also available for lunch and dinner. In addition, the Inn features a classic bar reminiscent of an old English library with rich, dark paneling, hunting prints and high-back chairs.

The historic town of New Canaan offers antique shops and interesting boutiques as well as a Nature Center, a Historical Society and a variety of sporting options including tennis and golf.

ROOMS & AMENITIES
The Roger Sherman Inn features 16 uniquely decorated guestrooms and one two-bedroom suite. We offer two standard, three superior and three deluxe rooms in the Main Building and one standard, five superior and two deluxe rooms are located in our Carriage House.

Queen size bed, private bath, cable TV, telephone with internent access, minibar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, Continental Breakfast. On request: laundry service, facsimile machine, babysitter.

OUR ROOMS AND SUITES
Standard Rooms
Our Standard Rooms are our smallest rooms and best fitted for single occupancy. They all have one queen size bed, private bath, TV, telephone and minibar. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Each room has antique furniture and unique decor.

Superior Rooms
Our Superior Rooms are medium size rooms and can be used for single or double occupancy. Each room has one queen size bed, private bath, TV, telephone and minibar. Continental breakfast is included. Most Superior rooms have a little desk and an extra chair for added comfort.

Deluxe Rooms
Deluxe Rooms are our largest rooms, which we usually use for special occasions and as bridal suites. Two have queen size beds, and three have king size beds. Two deluxe rooms in the Carriage House also have a balcony. All deluxe rooms have a private bath, TV, telephone and minibar. Continental breakfast is included. All deluxe rooms have a small sitting area with a couch, armchair and couch table.
